Optoelectrical Properties and the Study of Thickness and Annealing in Poly-3-hexylthiophene Based ITO Free Organic Solar Cells with TiO2 and MoO3 as Transport Layers

Inverted organic photovoltaic solar cells were fabricated with the configuration of FTO/TiO2/P3HT:PC61BM/MoO3/Ag. Besides, influence transport layers, titanium dioxide and molybdenum trioxide, on performance investigated. These compounds showed excellent optical (around 80% for trioxide 95% dioxide), electrical (like charge carrier density 3.3 x1015 cm-3 2.5 x1014 molybdenum, respectively) structural (anatase amorphous hexagonal phase properties to be used as layers. Also thickness electron layer is studied, well thickness, temperature heat treatment time active layer. The correct selection TiO2’s (70 nm) layer’s (250 annealing (at 100 degrees 8 minutes) can increase power conversion efficiency. Moreover, cell layers best conditions found a maximum efficiency 3.3%, which indicates that played determining role in performance.
